Teen Poetry Contest
Open to Beverly Residents and Students Grades 6-12
Cash prizes will be awarded in two age categories:
Grades 6-8 and Grades 9-12.
Poems are judged blindly.
Finalists will read their poems
and winners will receive their awards at the
Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 26 at 7pm.
In order to qualify you must:
- live in Beverly, MA or attend a school located in Beverly, MA;
- submit no more than 3 poems total;
- include a fully completed entry form with EACH submission;
- be enrolled in grades 6-12 (or be the equivalent age if home schooled);
- submit your poem(s) by 9 PM, Monday, March 1, 2010.
You can submit your poetry in several ways:
- Email: emanning@noblenet.org with the subject “Poetry Contest.”
- Snail mail to: Poetry Contest Entries, Beverly Public Library, 32 Essex Street, Beverly MA 01915.
- In person: Drop poems off at the Main or Farms libraries.
- Online: enter your poem online.

Finalists will be notified by telephone or email on or about April 12, 2010.
