Do you love pie? If you do, don’t miss the Beverly Public Library’s celebration of National Pie Day with a “Pie Potluck” and story sharing with local storyteller Tony Toledo on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 7 – 8:30 PM. This family-friendly program has become an annual tradition here at the library!
Created by the American Pie Council, National Pie Day takes place annually in January and is dedicated to the celebration of pie. Bring a homemade or store-bought pie to share, and enjoy a slice or two while Tony leads the group in swapping favorite pie stories (there might even be some music too). Traditional dessert pie, pizza pie, chicken pot pie – any kind of pie will fit the bill. The library will provide beverages and some containers for any leftovers.
The program takes place in the Sohier Room on the first floor of the main library, and is free and open to all. No registration required. Handicapped accessible. For more information please call the library at 978-921-6062 or email email@example.com.
