With the onset of autumn and Hallowe’en on the horizon, October is a month when it can seem that magic is in the air. On Monday, October 1, 2012, seniors are invited to join magician Jack Ryan for a tasteful and classy show filled with sophisticated magic, ESP, humor, and audience participation. Part of the “Monday Mornings” lecture series, the program runs from 9:30 – 10:30 AM in the Sohier Room at the main library, 32 Essex Street. Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Beverly Public Library.
Jack Ryan is past president of the Society of American Magicians in Boston, and has been practicing magic for over 30 years. “Monday Mornings” is a free lecture series for senior adults that runs between September and May. No registration required; handicapped accessible. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments served at 9 AM. For more information contact Robin Flynn (program director) at 978-921-6062.
