“A Constellation of Stories and Songs” with Davis Bates & Roger Tincknell

Davis Bates and Roger TicknellThe Beverly Public Library will celebrate it’s annual summer reading program by presenting a performance by Parents’ Choice award winning performers Davis Bates and Roger Tincknell.  The program, A Constellation of Stories and Songs, will involve the audience in a variety of cultural traditions, sharing stories and songs about the sun, moon, stars, and more. This participatory concert is a delight for all ages. Hear how the stars came to be in the sky, why the bear missed the train, sing a dancing dog to sleep with a starry lullaby, and be prepared to sing, move and dance. There will even be a short lesson in how to play the spoons.
The performance will take place at the Beverly Public Library on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, starting at 2:00 pm. Be sure not to miss this wonderful family oriented entertainment event.
This performance funded, in part, by a grant from the Beverly Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
