Do you know some kids who love to explore and make things? In March we will begin selling raffle tickets for an awesome basket of fun educational games and activities. There will be a limited number of tickets sold, just 300, so your chances of winning will be good! Each ticket costs just $2.00 and all proceeds will go towards a new Bookmobile for the library. The basket, donated by one of our generous Trustees, contains a Crystal Growing Kit, a Corythosaurus Model Kit, Foam Craft Projects, Kid Concoctions, a Deluxe Investigation Set, a Motorized Pirate Ship Model and two books on crafts. This would make a wonderful present for some lucky child, beef up the goodies at a daycare, or add hours of fun to a classroom or homeschooler’s curriculum. Tickets are available at the Circulation desks at both branches and at the Children’s desk in the main library. The basket is on display in the Children’s room at the main library. The winner will be chosen when all the tickets are sold.
