Montserrat Dormitory Construction

image of bulldozerConstruction of a new dormitory on the block where the main library is located, the corner of Winter and Essex Streets, will continue during the next few months. This means a steady stream of large construction vehicles on Winter Street, with limited on-street parking. Additionally, through-access on Winter Street (to Essex Street) may be suspended some days. On these days, 2-way access on Winter Street will be set up.

The Winter Street parking lot and library entrance are heavily used by children, seniors, and handicapped patrons. We ask all library visitors to use extra caution and patience when entering and exiting the Winter Street lot, and to obey the traffic pattern in the lot, during this time. Thank you for your cooperation!
